Goddess of Justice 正義女神

Thousands protest in Hong Kong over jailing of democracy activists, Umbrella Movement protest leaders from 2014 were sent to jail for six to eight months for unlawful assembly after they have already served up their sentences by previous court ruling. My work is a protest sign featuring the Goddess of Justice statue from the top of the former Hong Kong Legislative Council Building. Her eyes were blind folded by a red ribbon suggesting that her judgement was distorted from " without passion or prejudice" to only serving the political needs of the Chinese Communist Party, ultimately destroying the judiciary system of Hong Kong.
