Green Island Serenade x Light of Friendship MTV
The Cantonese song Light of Friendship was adopted from the Taiwanese song Green Island Serenade, it was featured in the 1987 movie Prison on Fire featuring actor Chow Yun Fat. The Taiwanese song originally was about romantic love affairs between men and women, but once changed into Cantonese lyrics it was transformed into a song of brotherhood in adversity.
The same song with lyrics written in different period of time and space, linking Hong Kong and Taiwan together in a strange way.
The artist put these two songs into the same MTV, shot in a surrealistic sculpture park, to express the feeling of absurdity under authoritarian government suppression rules, also to remind everyone not to forget those who were imprisoned fighting from freedom and democracy form Taiwan and Hong Kong.

《友誼之光》改編自台灣的《綠島小夜曲》，是一九八七年由周潤發演出的電影《監獄風雲》裏的廣東話插曲。歌曲主題由原本男女之情，變成一首充滿剛陽味，關於患難兄弟情的歌。
同一首曲，但不同時代填的詞，不同場境的演繹，奇特地把香港和台灣連結起來。
藝術家把這裏兩首歌放在同一個MTV，在他眼中最超現實的雕塑紀念公園內拍攝， 表達台灣在威權政府管治之下的荒誕與壓迫，同時提醒大家不要忘記為了爭取民主自由被監禁的台灣及香港人。
