S.S.T.U. 唱歌速龍

S.S.T.U. stands for Special Singing Tactical Unit, this title was inspired by the infamous violent Hong Kong Police S.T.U. (Special Tactical Unit or Special Tactical Contingent - Raptors). This piece was performed on 23rd August, 2019 on the streets between Wan Chai and Causeway Bay during the Hong Kong Human Chain event, which was inspired by The Baltic Way from Estonia, Latvia, & Lithuanian 30 years ago. The artist dressed up like the violent police unit armed with a speaker on his belly playing songs from social movement. Through bodily gesture of dance and movements the artist sang with the protestors lining the streets continuously for 4 four hours until he almost lost his voice. Maybe one day there will be a big reconciliation party where you will see the people of Hong Kong and the police singing happily together to celebrate the Glory of Hong Kong...but before that happens, there will be more police brutality & arrest.

S.S.T.U.是Special Singing Tactical Unit，受2019年臭名遠播的香港暴警Special Tactical Contingent「速龍小隊」所啟發。2019年8月23號晚，香港市民模仿東歐三國(愛沙尼亞、拉脫維亞、立陶宛)30年前發動的「波羅的海之路」，手牽手組成人鏈由灣仔一直伸延到銅鑼灣。藝術家穿著暴力警察的黑色製服，腰間掛著揚聲器播放社運歌曲以音樂作為武器，連續數小時不斷透過跳舞唱歌與街上的抗爭者互動。可能未來有一天，真的會有一個「大和解派對」讓香港市民和警察一起高歌「榮光歸香港」…但在這發生之前，應該將會有更多的警察暴力與違法拘捕在香港發生。
