Torch of Brick 磚頭電筒

When citizens go against unjust government during uncivil disobedience, throwing bricks often become one of the options. The resin in this sculpture acts like a time capsule permanently sealing the brick inside, meanwhile blocking the lights behind. Bricks often associated with destruction and light associated with illumination, here two contradictive elements are working harmoniously together allowing the individual to see the way.
